Alexis Carlisle and her cat café, ToeBeans, have shot to fame after she came forward as a victim of a celebrity chef’s sexual harassment. When a new customer approaches to confide in her, the last thing Alexis expects is for the woman to claim they’re sisters. Unsure what to do, Alexis turns to the only man she trusts—her best friend, Noah Logan.

Computer genius Noah left his rebellious teenage hacker past behind to become a computer security expert. Now he only uses his old skills for the right cause. But Noah’s got a secret: He’s madly in love with Alexis. When she asks for his help, he wonders if the timing will ever be right to confess his crush.

Noah’s pals in The Bromance Book Club are more than willing to share their beloved “manuals” to help him go from bud to boyfriend. But he must decide if telling the truth is worth risking the best friendship he’s ever had.

A hacktivist and a cat café owner decode the friend zone in this romantic comedy from the author of Undercover Bromance.

My Review:

Final rating: 4.5 / 5 stars 🌟

I’m just in love with this series. One of the cutest friends to lovers romance I’ve read and gosh, I have butterflies! Crazy Stupid Bromance didn’t disappoint. Alexis Carlisle and Noah Logan are both lovable and I adore their chemistry.

Alexis is one of the many sexual assault/harassment victims of Peyton Royce and she’s proudly a survivor. The trauma she went through made her stronger and thru her own cat cafe, she hosts activities that also help victims share their stories. During that time, she met Noah who is a professional hacker and they’ve been best friends ever since.

Their friendship blossomed into an unrequited love. They’re attracted to each other but both are oblivious on to their actions. I swear these two are so cute together and neither of them wants to admit they’re in love especially Noah. (I badly want to scream Alexis that her best friend is MADLY in love with her) That’s when the Bromance Book Club do their magic to help Noah boost his courage to admit his true feelings to her.

There are so many great moments in this book and I tabbed all those moments. It was entertaining and the guys never failed to make me laugh. They’re a bunch of idiots sometimes but they saved my bad days. This book also deals with grief, family dynamic and forgiveness. It’s difficult to forgive someone who’s been absent throughout your life then shows up all of a sudden. Alexis is a true class act for holding herself together. She’s a gentle soul and I admire her selflessness. I was getting emotional and she’s trying to rekindle his relationship with her father. I don’t have the strength to forgive him after she’s initially treated by his family with disrespect. Nah. I can forgive someone but healing is another story.

In conclusion, I love it. The relationship Noah and Alexis had its flaws but it only made them a stronger couple. I am dying to read The Russian’s book because that ending got me REALLY CURIOUS.

Side note: I’m not a cat person but I love Beefcake. This cat makes me laugh too.
