Summary (Goodreads):

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

One last hurrah for The Off-Campus series ! I don’t want this series to end and I’m going to miss the whole gang and their shenanigans. When I heard the news there’s going to be a spin-off series, I could never be more happy with the next batch of hockey players. HELL YES! I can’t wait for Fitzy’s story! ❤

The final book in the series is about Sabrina James and John Tucker. If you remember Sabrina, she’s Dean’s nemesis in Law School and I wasn’t a huge fan of her in the previous book for being a bitch. I decided to give a benefit of a doubt and hear her side story. It turns out she wasn’t that bad — I admire her for being studious, hardworking and flexible. Despite of financial difficulties, I love her motivation to continue her Law studies in Harvard and worked 2 jobs to have a bright future.— but I have issues with her. I’m frustrated on how she treats Tucker. She left him hanging and it took time for her to loosen up and drop the “L” bomb/word on Tucker. He deserved better than that and I wished she assured him that there’s a future in their relationship. I’m trying to keep myself chill but she’s pushing all the buttons and I’m like:

Out of the male leads in this book, Tucker is the most caring, nicest and sweetest guy. Those qualities made him sexy and charming. He’s absolutely swoon worthy and he almost dethrone Dean as my all time favorite (I’m still Team Dean Heyward Di-Laurentis!). Christ, Sabrina.. why are you so hard to please when this guy gave you everything?! He’s amazing and has patience like a saint but I don’t like his rude mother.

Overall, I like it but I have to admit Tucker saved it. He’s a total babe. Elle Kennedy is an amazing New Adult author and I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a Sports Romance series.
