Summary (Goodreads):

Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

My Review:

Review also posted on Goodreads

Evelyn Thomas spends her 21st birthday at Las Vegas with her best friend, Lauren and you know how girls just wanna have fun. They got drunk and wild (Crazy things happened when Tequila is involved). She ended up with having a hangover and doesn’t any recollection of what happened that night. She woke up in her room with a ring on her finger and it turns out she married a sexy, tattooed guy named David Ferris, a rock star and a member of the famous band called Stage Dive.

I find Evelyn plain and boring in the beginning. As the story progresses, her character gets better and I really appreciate her kindness and sincerity. Despite David having a trust issue, she understands and waits for him to open up to her. Withholding their annulment, they took the chance of getting to know each other. Undeniably, these two have a great chemistry enough to make me swoon but it’s not really off-the charts hot. I really like their story doesn’t have an unnecessary and annoying drama. David Ferris is one swoon-worthy rock hero. One of the sweetest by the way. Overall, it’s a good start for the series and I’m looking forward to read the rest of it.

I read this book for the #NALitLoversPH & #NewAdultandBeyondPH Readalong. Check out my lovely friends’ reviews by clicking their blog links:
