You can follow the rules or you can follow your heart…
THE MOMENT OF LETTING GO
Sienna Murphy never does anything without a plan. And so far her plans have been working. Right after college, she got a prestigious job and gained the stability she’d always craved-until work takes her to the sun-drenched shores of Oahu and places her in the path of sexy surfer Luke Everett. For the first time, she lets her heart take control. Drawn to his carefree charm, she makes a spontaneous and very un-Sienna-like decision to drop everything and stay in Hawaii for two more weeks.
Luke lives fast and wild. When he meets Sienna, he’s convinced that some no-strings-attached fun is just what she needs. As their nights quickly turn from playful to passionate, Luke can’t deny the deep connection he feels. But there’s a reason Luke doesn’t do long-term. He can’t promise Sienna forever, when the enormity of his past has shown him just how fragile the future can be . . .
The Moment of Letting Go is simply a great book to pick up for the Summer season. The fact that it sets on Hawaii (I would love to go here someday.) adds more to the summer vibe. I really like how the story offers its fluffy side and something deeper than that.
Sienna Murphy is a hardworking, driven and passionate lady. These qualities made her admirable She wants to keep things organized and wants to be successful in life so she didn’t have to struggle for a living like her parents did. Securing a job at a prestigious company as an event coordinator is an opportunity to take her to Oahu, Hawaii for work. In that moment, everything changes when she met the hot, charming surfer, Luke Everett. He is a type of guy who is into adventure and extreme sports, a total opposite of Sienna’s fearfulness and has a problem conquering it. They get along with each other and unexpectedly, he was drawn to her than he ever let on. He is not into relationship for a certain reason. A guilt that he carries for such a long time that he somewhat can’t let go..
As always, I love J.A. Redmerski’s writing style. It’s beautiful and there is so much feels to it. The characters are likable and the attraction between them is evident but they slowly get to know each other better. Aside from that, they motivate and teach each other to conquer their fears, letting go of their burdens and move on to life and live to the fullest. It’s such a lovely and an enjoyable story. I recommend this book to everyone.
