Summary (Goodreads):

He’s mine, and I’m his. Our love is all-consuming, powerful,
imperfect, and real…

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Riptide” Tate as vital as the air he breathes… and now he can’t live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, she is torn away from his side. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

My Review:

A sudden change of heart, I enjoy Mine more than Real. The story starts from what’s left on the previous book as Brooke Dumas– a former athlete, and now a sports rehab specialist and Remington “Riptide” Tate – a fallen boxer and an underground badass fighter are back together.

Throughout the book, we get to see their joy and struggles of their love story. I love how they pull each other up when someone goes down. They share a wonderful chemistry that still remains sizzling hot. There are still raging hormones but it lessens as it focuses more on their development as a couple and as an individual. Brooke surely gets on my nerves but I praise her for being the supportive and loving other half to Remy. She isn’t fazed by his flaws and continues to shower him with love that has been deprived from him for years by his parents. It’s so admirable and I say kudos for her.

Remy, holy Goo Goo Dolls. The possessive, flawed badass fighter who has a big heart and hotness of summer. I love him! His miserable childhood of being unloved and unappreciated by his parents is really heartbreaking. He feels like he didn’t deserved to be loved because of his own demons and is terrified of being left by someone he loves. His undying love to Brooke is incredibly sweet and touching. He breathes her and will do everything to keep her safe. With her by his side, he continues to strive harder and be a better man.

The turn of events are so good and I enjoyed everything. I’m looking forward to continue the rest of the series. The playlist in this series is giving me some eargasm. Cheers to old and new songs!
